Aston Villa: 5 Reasons They Can Still Get Relegated
3. Recent Form Hasn't Been Great (17th In Form Table)
As much as know that form is temporary but class is permanent; there must be considerably concerns about how much class there really is in this Villa side. After all, this is not the first time this season that they have struggled for a decent run of results. A quick look at the current form table over the last six games is not good reading for Villa fans with two draws, three defeats and just one win; they have conceded 10 goals and scored only seven. The one win that they did record was a 4-3 success against West Brom; Villas current form has seen them pick up five points from those six games, and they are currently 17th in the form table. Only West Brom, Cardiff and Fulham have been in worst form of late, so there is definitely a concern there and theres a huge need to pick up points in the near future. The situation is even worse looking at the last four games, since they have lost three games in that period. Of course getting into the winning habit is a very good feeling and its easy to keep things going, but bad runs of form are very similar in terms of it being hard to break the habit.
