Barcelona vs Ajax Preview: Neymar Could Make His European Debut For Catalan Giants

£50 million signing Neymar could make his first European bout for the Spanish outfit. The 21-year old forward has endured a slow start to the 2013/14 campaign - making just one start in the league for the La Liga holders. He's also yet to score in La Liga for Barcelona, but he has netted in the Supercopa victory over Athletico Madrid. Citing how the chance to win such a prestigious tournament was one of the many perks of being at a club like Barcelona, Neymar will be hoping to feature heavily in this season's Champions League. Manager Gerardo Martino has so far used the Brazilian sparingly, but he could afford the youngster more time in Europe, as the Catalan giants' will fancy their chances in Group H. Supporters are licking their lips at the prospect of Lionel Messi and Neymar finally linking up on the pitch, as the pair have been hit and miss playing together this campaign due to the lack of playing time afforded to Neymar. Barcelona are firm favourites for victory, and the supporters will be hoping the 21-year old can finally get off the mark in the Champions League tonight.
