Bayer Leverkusen vs Man Utd - How Red Devils Should Line Up
Goalkeeper - David de Gea
No real surprises between the sticks here. Whereas goalkeeping problems have blighted their derby rivals Manchester City in recent weeks, United can boast a much-improving David de Gea in their ranks. The young Spain star came in for heavy flack during his tentative days in England, with many claiming he lacked the physical stature to cope with the rigorous style of the Premier League. However, de Gea has gone on to prove all his detractors wrong since, by putting in a series of sterling performances to keep hold of the No.1 jersey at Old Trafford, with competition from Anders Lindegaard falling away. If there was one blot against his name this season, it would be his low number of clean sheets - just three in 12 PL games - but there's really no other serious candidate for No.1.
