2. Who Wants It The Most
Both teams will desperately want a win tonight. Benfica will be out to prove a point having suffered six successive European Cup Final defeats while equally, Chelsea's interim manager Rafa Benitez will be determined to prove a point to the fans that have jeered him all year by winning a major piece of silverware before departing at the end of the campaign. This is also Chelsea's last shot at glory this season while Benfica have the Portuguese Cup Final to look forward to at the end of the month - a competition of which they have dominated. As with any cup final, neither side will be left wanting when it comes to desire and sheer determination and it is difficult to separate the two on this point. If this does prove to be Frank Lampard's last ever European game for Chelsea, with no sign of a contract extension in sight, he will be going all out to ensure his time at Stamford Bridge ends in a flourish but then, Benfica really do have a point to prove as well.
