Age: 25Position: SafetyTeam: Seattle Seahawks A member of the Legion of Boom and considered the best Safety in the NFL, Thomas was again a key figure in the league's best defence. Thomas accumulated 97 tackles, three forced fumbles and an interception in a year where he was once again named to the All-Pro first team and featured prominently in the post season as the Seahawks made another run to the Super Bowl but fell just short of winning the championship for a second straight year as they lost 28-24 to the New England Patriots. Thomas also signed a contract extension with Seattle before the start of the 2014 season, which made him the highest paid Safety in the NFL, when he signed a four-year, $40m contract in April 2014, meaning the Seahawks defence should be formidable for a long time to come.
