This entry probably would've been Ruel Fox had he not played twice for Montserrat! A lack of decent uncapped right wingers is what is preventing this team from employing a 4-4-2 formation and, as such, the last slot in the three men behind the striker goes to Matthew Etherington. Etherington joined Spurs for half a million pounds from Peterborough United in December of 1999 when he was just 18. Although he never really established himself as a regular first team player, he showed signs of his potential at White Hart Lane and played 45 Premier League games for Spurs - albeit with 25 of those appearances coming from the bench - and scored one goal. He went on to establish himself in the Premier League for both Stoke City and West Ham United - where he is currently playing - and has, at times, been touted for an England call-up. Sadly for Etherington, however, it just never happened for him.
