Blackburn Rovers Manager: Top 5 Candidates To Replace Berg

5. Sean O'Driscoll

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_UBopOflp0 Former Nottingham Forest manager Sean O'Driscoll is one possible contender for the vacant Blackburn job given he himself was relieved of his duties just two days ago. He had just overseen an impressive Forest performance as his side came from behind to beat Leeds United 4-2 in the Championship, but that result apparently was not enough, despite the fact his side were just two places off a play-off position. He will be seeking a new club in the New Year and he couldn't really have asked for better timing with regards to Berg's dismissal at Rovers. O'Driscoll has a track-record of gaining teams promotion - he took Bournemouth up to League 1 in 2000, then took Doncaster from League One to the Championship in 2008 after winning the Johnstone's Paint Trophy with them a year earlier. Whether he'd want to walk straight back into a managerial job so soon remains to be seen however.
