https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMy8ts1X6W8 Admittedly the Belgian-U21 international centre back isnt exactly a big name (yet), but following on from a couple of impressive seasons for Belgian side Club Brugge, Mechele has the potential to be the next Virgil Van Dijk. He has recently been
linked with a £3 million move to Celtic, a fee which would make him Celtics most expensive signing since July 2010, when the forgettable
Efrain Juarez signed for the same amount. It looks possible that this signing could go through either way, because should Celtic qualify then surely the £3 million price-tag will seem reasonable for a player of Mecheles potential. Should they fail to qualify on the other hand Van Dijk will surely be out the door at Parkhead
for a fee of around £10million, presumably allowing Celtic to spend £3 million on a potential replacement for the Dutchman.
