17. Alexis Sanchez v Besiktas 2014/15

The Gunners had to qualify for the Champions League group stage by beating Turkish side Besiktas over two legs. Sanchez made his Champions League debut for Arsenal and it proved to be his night in the return leg after the first game ended all square. Jack Wilshire was able to control a loose ball and link up well Mattheiu Debuchy before the defender's return pass landed in the path of Sanchez who smashed the ball into the back of the net to break the deadlock. Alexis went on to win Man of the Match as his goal sealed Arsenal's qualification for the 17th successive season.
