Chelsea Transfer News: Ashley Cole in Talks With Real Madrid?

Daily Mail. The 31-year old€™s contract at Chelsea is up in the summer and along with teammate Frank Lampar0d, the Englishman has been told he won€™t be getting another. Now news has surfaced that the player€™s agent has travelled to the Spanish capital to speak to Madrid over a potential move, whilst it is understood the player is keen on ending his career in Spain with either Real or Barcelona. There had also been reported interest from Qatar-owned Paris Saint-Germain, who are currently managed by former Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti. The prospect of reuniting with his former manager might be a tempting one for Cole, but that could happen if he joins Real also, with the Italian one of the early favourites to take over from Jose Mourinho in the summer. Manchester United had also shown an interest in signing both Cole and his teammate Lampard as Sir Alex Ferguson looks to add experience to his side, and whilst the latter is said to be keen on the idea, Cole is less decisive and his future still remains unclear.
