Chelsea Transfer News: Blues To Get Kaka For Free?

The former Ballon d'Or winner joined from AC Milan for a huge £56 million in 2009 and has scored 20 times in 73 appearances for Real, but Spanish paper El Economista report that the club are growing tired of having to pay his exorbitant wages after a number of recent poor performances. His contract still has another three years left to run at the Bernabeu having signed a 6 year deal in 2009, but the news that he could have his contract terminated and be released on a free will certainly prick the ears of Chelsea who are seeking a midfield replacement for the soon-to-be departing Frank Lampard. Manchester United are also thought to be interested in the player, and a scramble for his signature could ensue between the top teams in the Barclay's Premier League.
