Chelsea Transfers: 10 Players They Must Sign This Summer

4. Sergej Milinković-Savić (Lazio)

Fellow Europa League outfit Lazio seem like one of the few top sides in Europe from whom Chelsea could still theoretically snatch their best player.

At the moment, their best player is probably Serbian youngster Sergej Milinković-Savić, who netted an impressive 15 goals in all competitions last season despite operating in a box-to-box midfield role.

Already, you can see him being hastily hailed as the next Frank Lampard after netting a brace from the edge of the penalty area against Bournemouth, but that's actually not a bad shout. Like the former England star, he has a useful knack of arriving in the box at just the right moment.

His joining Chelsea would likely see a formation switch of some kind - perhaps moving away from Conte's back three system and installing one that uses a trio of central midfielders instead - but new managers tend to break with the old regime as a matter of course anyway.
