Chelsea Transfers - 10 Strikers To Fire The Blues To Title Glory In 2015
10. Romelu Lukaku
Romelu Lukaku was signed by Chelsea for a fee rising to £18 million from Anderlecht three years ago but has barely had a look-in at Stamford Bridge since. The young Belgian international has been farmed out on loan for each of the past two seasons - at West Brom and Everton - but has excelled in his two temporary stays. Lukaku scored 17 goals for the Baggies while at the Hawthorns and also managed an impressive tally of 15 for the Toffees, helping Roberto Martinez's men finish fifth last season. His goalscoring tally puts those of Torres and co. to shame and Jose Mourinho is willing to give him a fresh deal to stay in west London next season. However, the self-styled 'Special One' looks almost certain to dip into the transfer market for a new forward as well this season, meaning Lukaku's playing time could again prove severely restricted. Unsurprisingly, Martinez wants to keep the young forward at Goodison Park, and a big decision needs to be made over Lukaku's future this summer. Does he stay, or does he go?
