1. John Terry

Though John Terry is not a Chelsea player anymore, Lampard's captain while at Stamford Bridge would make a fantastic signing for The Rams. Terry has an unrivaled amount of experience, winning the Premier League, winning the Champions League, playing at the World Cup, and possibly most importantly for Derby, playing in the Championship.

The former England captain spent last season with Aston Villa, helping the Midlands club reach the playoffs. After falling short of promotion Terry left the club and is now a free agent. Though age is no longer on his side, the 37 year old can offer Derby a wealth of experience and leadership skills as he did with The Villains.

Though The Rams would not have to pay any transfer fee for JT's services, his wages are likely to be through the roof. However for a year of his services on the pitch, and possibly a chance to progress into part of his old Chelsea teammate's coaching staff, the money would be more than worth paying.
