Chelsea Transfers: 5 Players Mourinho Must Sign To Secure Premier League
2. Isco
During this summers transfer window, news has been doing the rounds that Oscars future at Stamford Bridge is in doubt, with Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri speaking of his interest. The Brazilian has held the position in behind Diego Costa this season, and would leave Chelsea with a gap in their squad should he depart the club. The Real Madrid playmaker was the interest of top clubs during his two year spell at Malaga, before Carlo Ancelotti made the player his first signing during the summer of 2013. Playing behind the striker or on the left wing Isco is a small and nimble player, assisting 16 goals in his 66 games for the Spanish giants. At 23, the Spaniard can still develop and improve, yet undoubtedly has the talent to drop into any top side straight away. Isco can also play in the centre of the park, allowing the option of pushing Cesc Fabregas into the gap behind Costa, a position he has played on a number of occasions. With Arsenal and Manchester City also interested in the player, Chelsea would do well to tie up a deal in the current transfer window, alleviating pressure on Mourinho should he lose a first team name in Oscar. With Champions League experience the La Liga star would perhaps demand a higher fee than other target Moussa Sissoko, however is a more consistent candidate when compared with the Newcastle United alternative. Completing the move would land the current Premier League champions with a world class talent, and rule out title rivals gaining the player.
An admiration for the arrogant personalities in football. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Diego Simeone, even Joey Barton. If you were to ask who I'd rather have in my team, Messi or Ronaldo? The latter.
