5. Marouane Fellaini
Marouane Fellaini's departure from Everton this summer is an "inevitability" - that's according to Toffee's legend Kevin Ratcliffe at least. The Belgian international has been a long-term target for the Blues and rumours suggesting he could quit Goodison Park intensified when it was revealed the utility man has a
£22 million release clause built into his current contract. As well as being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, Arsenal and even Manchester United have been tipped to sign the 25-year old, who can play both as a defensive and offensive midfielder. And Ratcliffe, who made 348 appearances for Everton between 1980 and 1992 as a defender, believes if a big enough offer comes in this summer, it is inevitable Fellaini will join teammate Leighton Baines, also a target for United, in leaving. He
explained:
"Its not about Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines wanting to stick around. I think if big bids come in for them then inevitably theyre going to go. There is no way the club will stand in their way because in the past if there has been the right fee the club will reluctantly let you go because theyre not in a comfortable position financially. It will have to be decent bids though for the club to allow it to happen.
