Chelsea Transfers: 5 Reasons They'd Be Mad To Let Frank Lampard Go

3. He Is Still In-Form

Lampard2 Chelsea are off the pace in the Premier League this season - they're 11 points adrift of leaders Manchester United, albeit with a game in hand, and they were dumped out of the Champions League to boot. Added to that, they haven't won the title since the 2009/10 season. One thing you can count on however is the form of Frank Lampard. He is showing no signs of slowing down as Chelsea go in search of silverware and has consistently contributed to any success that has come Chelsea's way. In his last three seasons he has scored 16, 13 and a career best 26 goals, the latter of which saw Chelsea win the league that season - coincidence? Hardly. Furthermore, he has scored 6 in 15 games this season - not a bad record at all.
