5. Alvaro Pereira
Chelsea were linked with a move for Inter Milan's Uruguayan defender during the summer transfer window last year, only to be put off by his former club Porto's £30 million asking price. The left-back eventually moved to Italy and he would be a lot higher up this list if he hadn't just signed for Inter last year. There's no reason why Abramovic can't make a move for him though - stranger things have happened in football. Pereira would be an ideal signing for the Blues given that he could replace not one but two of their soon to be departing players. The versatile left-back can play in midfield and in defence, and ends up switching between the two positions during matches. His signing would seem to kill two birds with one stone as Chelsea also need a replacement for Frank Lampard. Source(s):
