He signed the likes of Tiago Mendes, Ricardo Carvalho and Paulo Ferreira during his three year spell at the Bridge. It would make sense then for Chelsea to sign Portuguese left-back Fabio Coentrão. The Portuguese€™ is one of the best left-backs in football, but hasn€™t really been able to replicate his impressive performances on the international stage at club level for Madrid €“ he has only played 10 times for the La Liga outfit this season and could therefore join Mourinho on that plane to London.
