5. Fábio Coentrão
It's hardly a well-kept secret that Ashley Cole is living on borrowed time at Stamford Bridge, which puts the Blues in the market for a new left-back given that rookie Ryan Bertrand would be the only remaining player at the club to fill that position. It's also no secret that Mourinho preferred to surround himself with fellow Portuguese players during his spell at Chelsea. He signed the likes of Tiago Mendes, Ricardo Carvalho and Paulo Ferreira during his three year spell at the Bridge. It would make sense then for Chelsea to sign Portuguese left-back Fabio Coentrão. The Portuguese is one of the best left-backs in football, but hasnt really been able to replicate his impressive performances on the international stage at club level for Madrid he has only played 10 times for the La Liga outfit this season and could therefore join Mourinho on that plane to London.
