4. Marcelo
Following the same train of thought for a replacement for the imminently departing Ashley Cole, Chelsea could try and land Real Madrid left-back Marcelo in an attempt to coerce Mourinho to the Bridge. The Brazilian would find himself right at home at Chelsea given the fact he could link up with fellow compatriots Oscar and David Luiz, and he could help forge an impressive Brazilian trifecta at the Bridge. Marceloa has tremendous speed and his style of attacking play would seem to pander toward Roman Abramovic who has long wanted to see free-flowing attacking play at Stamford Bridge and at just 24, Marcelo has every chance of developing into one of the worlds best left-backs in the future. By bringing one of Mourinho's current stars to Chelsea, the club would be setting the groundwork and giving the Special One a core base to work from should he return.
