Chelsea Transfers: 5 Strikers Jose Mourinho Must Sign Before Window Closes

3. Hulk

Perhaps a more realistic option is Zenit St-Petersburg striker Hulk. Chelsea are close to signing one Brazilian in the form of Anzhi winger Willian and the Blues could be set to raid the Russian Premier League for another of its Brazilian stars this summer. Hulk is a long-term transfer target for Chelsea and was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge shortly before he left Porto last summer. But, despite the fact the 27-year-old has only been at Zenit for 12 months, a deal could still be brokered for him to move to West London. Tottenham are thought to be interested in Hulk, who almost ended up at Monaco this summer, but Blues owner Roman Abramovich is well-connected in Russia and could use his sway in the country to land the striker in the same way he did Willian.
