The Uruguayan striker has been linked with Chelsea in the past but any chances of securing the player were shredded when he joined PSG last Summer. However, there is renewed hope. Cavani is said to be unhappy in France and after a move, with Chelsea being one of a few clubs that can afford to secure his services- which would likely cost in excess of £50m. Money is no problem for Chelsea and they've been following the striker since his Napoli days, while Mourinho would jump at the chance to capture one of the best strikers in world football. Chelsea can offer the right price, incentives and decent football for Cavani- who would be a handful for defences across England and help to cement Chelsea's place at the top of the English game.
