1. Fernando Torres
Chelsea may not need to spend any money on a Drogba replacement at all. If RDM can get Torres firing for next season there's no reason why he cannot fill the boots of Didier Drogba. Ever since his big money move from Liverpool the Spaniard has failed to live up to expectations and has often left Chelsea supporters scratching heads and wondering why he was ever signed in the first place. Nevertheless it should never be forgotten what earned Torres his record move to Chelsea was his goalscoring abilities in the red of Liverpool. Taking the Premier League by storm since his arrival, Fernando Torres was seen by many as the world's best striker when at Merseyside. He also rivalled Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for the 2008 Ballon d'Or, the award given to the world's best player, ultimately finishing third. Fernando Torres is still a world class player; it's just that his drought in front of goal continued longer than most thought. Torres is returning to Chelsea from Euro 2012 as the Golden Boot winner so should be very high of confidence and raring to go for the forthcoming season. Should he find the form of his past once again, no doubt, a resurrected Fernando Torres will surely be the first and foremost most natural replacement for club legend Didier Yves Drogba.
