2. Queens Park Rangers
It would never happen. Or would it? QPRs midfielders have been poor this season. New signings Stephane Mbia, Samba Diakite, Esteban Granero and Ji-Sung Park have all failed to live up to their reputations, so much so that the limited Shaun Derry has won his place back in the starting eleven simply by being committed. QPR would no doubt be a step down but after Wednesdays fantastic win at Stamford Bridge the hoops showed that when they add hard work and determination to their natural ability they can give anyone a game. If they can stay up Lamaprd could have another couple of years of top flight football. There is the Harry Redknapp connection, obviously, plus the London location, and QPR would have the means to offer him good wages with a sizeable bonus if they stay up. If QPR did go down he could leave in the summer and look for a new club, something that would happen anyway if he stayed at Chelsea.
