Chelsea Transfers: 5 Under-The-Radar Keepers To Replace Thibaut Courtois

1. Kevin Trapp (PSG)

The German keeper could be looking to move this summer after losing his starting spot to Alphonse Areola. Having joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2015, Trapp came in as the club's first-choice stopper, yet his playing time was significantly reduced under now-Arsenal boss Unai Emery, who opted to play the Frenchman in goal for the majority of matches.

Trapp's chances of climbing up in the pecking order have been further damaged by the arrival of Juventus legend Gianluigi Buffon and he is now reported as being keen on leaving the Parc des Princes.

Recent reports, particularly one in the Metro, have linked the Blues with a move for Trapp this summer, given their Courtois headache, yet nothing solid has materialised as the Belgian is still on the club's books despite not rejoining their squad as yet due to his World Cup exploits.

The 28-year-old PSG custodian could also prove a worthy replacement for Courtois if he engineers a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer and is quite skilled as a shot-stopper, despite his struggles in Ligue 1.
