5. Andre Schurlle
Andre Schurlle has been a transfer target of Chelsea's for much of the year and the Bayer Leverkusen striker's move to Stamford Bridge was considered merely a case of "when" and not "if". However, the £20 million move for the German star was
in danger of collapse recently, due to Chelsea youngster Kevin De Bruyne's apparent reluctance to join Leverkusen as part of a makeweight in the deal. The good news though is that the deal appears to have been picked back up off the ground with news that the star may even have
signed an agreement with the Blues already. And the 6ft forward will be a welcome addition at Stamford Bridge. Endowed with versatility, he can play either up front or on the wing and at just 22-years old clearly has his best years in front of him. Whether or not he is the finished article and the man to replace Torres is debatable but it is a good start.
