1. Radamel Falcao
Both Chelsea and domestic rivals Manchester United have been linked with Atletico Madrid sensation Radamel Falcao recently, but with United apparently chasing Borussia Dortmund's Robert Lewandowski instead, the Blues
think they have won the race for the Colombian hot-shots signature. Falcao has set La Liga alright since his move from Porto in 2011, scoring 67 goals in 85 appearances in Spain, including 31 strikes in 35 appearances in all competitions this season. As such, he is one of the most coveted strikers in Europe and given Fernando Torres hasn't scored a Premier League goal in 2013, it is quite obvious the Blues need someone of his goal-scoring credentials to either replace the mis-firing Spaniard or at least ease his goal-scoring burden. In signing Falcao, Mourinho - who knows just how good a player he is having seen him up close and personal during his stint in La Liga - would be bringing with him one of the most potent goalscorers in Europe today.
