College Football: Top 8 Finishes Of The Season

3. Auburn 43 - Georgia 38 (November 16, 2013)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeZA3EQs4s0 In order to create a winner-take-all scenario with Alabama two weeks later, Auburn first had to get past Aaron Murray and the Georgia Bulldogs. Things were heading the Tigers way early after opening up a 27-10 lead in the first half. However, Aaron Murray and the Bulldogs refused to lay down and quit. Four Georgia TDs (Two TD passes, two TD runs from Murray) would put the Bulldogs up 38-37 with under two minutes remaining, and leave Auburn's national title hopes hanging by a thread. After a huge third down sack by Georgia's Jordan Jenkins, the Tigers faced a 4th and 18 with 73 yards to get to the end zone. Would you believe me if they did just that? Nick Marshall dropped back and threw a prayer up into double coverage, which would bounce off the hands of two Georgia defenders and into the hands of Auburn Wide Receiver Ricardo Louis for the go-ahead score. Murray would lead the 'Dawgs down to the Auburn 20, but couldn't hit his target as the clock hit all zeroes and gave Auburn their 10th win of the year, 43-38. This also set up a date with rival Alabama to decide who would represent the SEC West in the SEC Championship. (Hint, hint)
