Cricket World Cup 2015: 10 Dark Horses To Look Out For

7. George Dockrell

Age: 22 Team: Ireland Who: Crafty left-arm spinner A left-arm spinner who made his international debut aged 17, it seems like George Dockrell has already been around forever. A member of the Somerset setup since 2011, Dockrell is a particularly talented limited overs bowler who possesses clever, subtle changes of pace and an impressive arm-ball. 54 ODI wickets in 43 matches already to his name, Dockrell took 3-50 in Ireland's impressive opening game victory over the West Indies in Nelson. He played his first major tournament at the World T20 in 2010 and was named ICC Associate Player of the Year in 2012. While spin isn't expected to play a big part in the current tournament, Ireland's next three games are in Australia so Dockrell could have success having batsmen hole out in the deep while trying to clear the bigger boundaries.
