Cricket World Cup 2015: 10 Dark Horses To Look Out For
6. Khurram Khan
Age: 43 Team: United Arab Emirates Who: Classy left-handed batsman and oldest player at the tournament The oldest ever ODI centurion, Khurram Khan boasts the impressive average of 52.44 from 11 matches. During his side's World Cup Qualifying campaign in early 2014, Khan hit an impressive 581 runs at 72.62 and ended the year impressively with 132* and 85* in a series victory over Afghanistan. Born in Pakistan, Khan moved to UAE to work for Emirates Airlines in 1999 as a flight purser (where he still works) and quickly impressed at club level for UAE CC. His first international recognition came in 2001 at the ICC Trophy in Canada. 45 versus Zimbabwe in UAE's opening match of the tournament was perhaps a sign of things to come from Khan in this tournament. Definitely one to watch.
