Crystal Palace Transfer News: Eagles Swoop For Nicklas Bendtner & Barry Bannan

Metro. The Eagles won their first game of the season on Saturday and are looking to keep the feel-good factor at Selhurst Park by signing the two Premier League stars. The Scot is reportedly at Selhurst Park having a medical and Bendtner was apparently sighted at Palace's training ground earlier this afternoon. With Bannan frozen out at Villa Park and Bendtner unwanted at Arsenal, Palace boss Ian Holloway is hoping to lure the pair with promises of first-team football. Bannan hasn't played since March and with Arsenal keen to see the back of the Danish striker €“ they're reportedly paying £3 million to encourage his departure €“ Palace look to soon add their 14th and 15th signings of the window. Yet Holloway still may not be done €“ the Bristolian is hoping to sign Spurs under-21 starlet Tom Carroll on loan, and is rumoured to be in for William Gallas, Carlton Cole and Adrian Mariappa before the window shuts at 11pm tonight. The Londoners also moved for Liam Bridcutt and Leonandro Ulloa from rivals Brighton, but any potential moves have been slapped down by the Seagulls. Palace have made moves for Brighton duo Liam Bridcutt and Leonandro Ulloa but they have been rejected by the Seagulls.
