The inclusion of Andres Iniesta is arguably the most contentious selection in this list, and it's understandable to see why some wouldn't include him. He's been a little injury-plagued of late, Barcelona and Spain have failed to impress and there are others in his position who have achieved more. Despite this, there is still no attacking midfielder as talented and influential as the legendary Spaniard when he is fit and firing. The 30-year-old possesses absolutely unbelievable balance- he is probably the best since Zidane in that respect- his creativity is a joy to watch and his dribbling is second to none. Barcelona may not quite be the amazing force they once were, and neither may his long-term midfield partner Xavi, but Iniesta is as good as ever. The diminutive midfielder delivers in the big games, plays with an understated passion and is still feared hugely by the opposition. Once he is back in the Catalan giants' team, he will be frightening alongside the likes of Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez. He is one of the all-time great midfielders, and has plenty left in the tank still. Honourable mention: Marco Reus
