2. Lewandowski Only Scores Against Minnows
Robert Lewandowski, one of the most talked about strikers in Europe, lines up against England on Tuesday night. People will rightly fear him on his club form, but what about at international level? In truth, his Group H record thus far is fairly poor. Lewandowski has netted three times, twice against whipping boys San Marino (one of which was a penalty) and once in the draw against Montenegro. Not exactly the form of a leading European striker. Take away skipper Jakub Blaszczykowski and Poland are left pretty short of attacking options, something that's stifled even further should they spend most of the game in their own half. Even though the Pole will forever remain a threat in front of goal given the smallest of chances, he is by no means a certainty to get on the scoresheet.
