Everton: 5 Reasons Moyes Should Leave Everton

2. Opportunities Elsewhere

Old Trafford As mentioned before, Moyes may be waiting for a job at the very top to convince him to leave Goodison Park, but there are already a number of clubs that would welcome his management style gladly. English football has some huge clubs. Everton are one of them, but there are plenty of other sleeping giants in search of a return to their former glory days. Arsenal, Newcastle United and Aston Villa are 3 such clubs currently underachieving and in search of a return to where they feel they ought to be. In recent years the latter two have changed managers and both these teams are low enough down the league to give Moyes the opportunity to turn around their fortunes, as he did with Everton. Arsenal continue to frustrate under Arsène Wenger, every season struggling to rekindle the kind of title challenge shown in his first decade in charge. They have long been criticised for their worrying lack of backbone, something no one can accuse a David Moyes side of missing. Moyes may see a move to a team like Arsenal as the obvious progressive step in his career.
