Hot on the heels of selling Idrissa Gueye to Paris St-Germain for a reported £30 million, Everton have already moved to reinvest that money by securing Juventus striker Moise Kean.

Sky Sports is reporting that an agreement is in place for the 19-year-old Italy international to move to Goodison Park for an initial fee of £27.5 million. That fee could rise up to £36.6 million depending on various add-ons.

Largely viewed as one of the hottest prospects in world football, Kean is due to arrive in Merseyside on Wednesday to complete a deal that will see him net a hefty £2.75 million per year as part of a five-year contract with the Toffees.

The exciting forward’s motivation behind this move is down to game time – Juventus currently having Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic, Douglas Costa, Juan Cuadrado and Gonzalo Higuain on their books when it comes to the Turin club’s front three positions.

Brimming with the potential to be a truly world class striker, Kean’s 2018/2019 season took an ugly turn after Italian football’s racism problem again reared its head as the player was subjected to racist abuse during a match against Cagliari.

Everton fans have been anxiously waiting to see what – if any – attacking reinforcements Marco Silva was going to bring in ahead of the new season, and in Moise Kean they have signed themselves a true superstar in the making.
