Everton’s 2004/05 Champions League Qualifying Squad – Where Are They Now?
9. Duncan Ferguson
Legendary Everton hardman Duncan Ferguson was into the twilight years of his playing career during their most successful Premier League campaign, and many of his appearances that term were as a substitute. However, the big Scot was capable of making an impact off the bench, netting seven goals in all competitions, enough to earn him a contract extension into the following season. After retiring in 2006, Ferguson spent several years soaking up the Spanish sun in Majorca, before returning to his rightful place at Goodison to join Moyess coaching setup. He remains a key figure at the club under Roberto Martinez, having been promoted to the first-team coaching staff in 2014.
