2. Steve Watson
Former Newcastle United utility man Steve Watson was deployed as a striker by Everton after joining the club during the Walter Smith era. He found first-team opportunities limited during the 2004-05 campaign and was offloaded to West Brom in the summer. A loan spell with Sheffield Wednesday followed, a move that became permanent in 2007 and lasted until his retirement two years later, due to lingering injury woes. Watson remained active in football in the ensuing years, taking up coaching roles alongside former Newcastle teammate Lee Clark at Huddersfield Town and Birmingham City, but hasnt worked in the game since the duo were sacked by the latter in October 2014.
