Every Current Premier League Club's Biggest Transfer Bust

18. AFC Bournemouth - Dominic Solanke

AFC Bournemouth has enjoyed one of the most spectacular rises of any football club over the last decade, going from a middling League 2 side to an established Premier League team in just ten years with Eddie Howe at the helm.

Howe's status as the longest-serving manager in the Premier League was built on smart transfer business, but that doesn't mean the former player hasn't signed a few duds in his time.

One-time England international Dominic Solanke showed promise as a youth prospect, but many felt that Bournemouth paying nearly £20 million to bring him in after a disappointing spell at Liverpool was not a good move. The forward is yet to score in 34 appearances at the club and has so far failed to live up to his huge potential.
