Chris Wilder has been nothing short of revolutionary since taking over as boss of his boyhood club Sheffield United back in 2016. Despite not being able to make big-money signings, Wilder has brought the Blades two promotions in just three years, as the team challenge for a place in Europe in one of the most successful seasons for a promoted club in recent memory.

Wilder had previously enjoyed two stints as a player at Bramall lane, in a playing career that also saw the defender turn out for other Yorkshire clubs like Bradford City and Rotherham United among others before retiring in 2001 to take the reins at his final club, Halifax Town.
