Every FIFA World Cup Winner Ranked From Worst To Best
3. Brazil 2002
A side that far too infrequently hit the mesmeric levels that its individual players were capable of, the Brazil side of 2002, whilst certainly excellent, was largely symbolic of the power of having a collection of elite talents.
With a squad that reads like an all-time greatest 11, Brazilian team sheets at the time were adorned with iconic names such as Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Rivaldo, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and even a young Kaka.
This talented side reached the final and came up against a resolute and organized Germany, who despite missing their talisman Michael Ballack, were built on the foundation of an imperious Oliver Kahn.
However, despite only conceding one goal up until the final, a Kahn error, two Ronaldo goals and a dominant Brazilian midfield performance meant that Brazil picked up their fifth World Cup title.
This incarnation of Brazil, whilst largely built on pure talent alone, were often scintillating and at their best spellbinding.
