Manager: Alex Ferguson

Points: 89

Fergie's last Premier League triumph, who would have thought that seven years later we's still be waiting for United's next title.

As the narrative of this season was all about Sir Alex's farewell, it's easy to forget how impressive United were. 86 goals, 28 wins, 11 points clear of Manchester City, thanks in large to summer signing Robin Van Persie, whose hat-trick against Aston Villa secured the trophy.

Marks must be deducted as David De Gea's erratic performances meant a lot of goals were conceded and there's no way we can place a team that featured Tom Cleverley and Ashley Young any higher. That is, however, a testament to the wonders of Ferguson's management. Just imagine what miracles he could with Jesse Lingard and Fred.
