Fantasy Football Tips - 5 Expensive Flops You Should Always Avoid

1. Marouane Fellaini

Marouane FellainiTeam: Man Utd Value: £8.2 million Total Points: 12 Marouane Fellaini may be, statistically speaking at least, Manchester United's highest-scoring midfielder, but that is saying very little considering the champion's plights in that particular department. Fellaini was Everton's top goalscorer last season with 12 strikes, but since joining United over the summer hasn't scored and provided an assist once. The Belgian only played half an hour against Crystal Palace and a mere 23 minutes in the dire defeat to West Brom last Saturday, and has absolutely failed to live up to his £28 million price tag. Eyebrows were raised by United manager David Moyes's decision to pay that amount for the luxury of being reunited with his former player, and with each passing week, the midfielder looks more and more like a panic buy. He was good while at Everton, but playing for the Premier League champions is a different matter entirely, and that he has been unable so far to step into a higher gear is but one reason why he is on so few points. Do you agree? Or are these players worthy of being in your side after all? Let us know in the comment section, below.
