Fantasy Premier League 2018-19: 10 Midfielders To Sign
4. Kevin De Bruyne (Man City)
Most fantasy managers will be adding at least one City midfielder to their squads, but it can be quite tricky to figure out which one offers the best value. Raheem Sterling is technically classed as a midfielder, but the jury's still out on whether or not he can repeat his 18 goal heroics of last season.
David Silva is one of the cheapest options and offers a lot of value, but is getting older now, while the likes of Sané and Mahrez will surely rack up lots of points but might be rotating in and out of the first eleven, which is always problematic for fantasy managers.
With all of that taken into account, Kevin De Bruyne seems like the best option. At £10m, he's not cheap but earned 209 points last year with 8 goals and 18 assists. Pep's side might not win 100 points in the league this year but they'll continue to be a highly creative, attacking force and KDB will be central to all of that.
He's one of the best midfielders in all of Europe, capable of scoring or assisting goals in every single game and almost always being the player City turn to when they need a moment of magic. If you want to include one or two 'big money' midfielders in your lineup, De Bruyne should be one of them.
