Fantasy Premier League Tips: 11 Best Cheap Players For 2014-15

4. Adam Lallana

Liverpool have been the beneficiaries of an apparent fire sale at Southampton this summer, signing the likes of Dejan Lovren, Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana from the Saints. All three represent cheap options, with Lovren priced at £5.5 million and Lambert £7.5, but Lallana could be the best bet given his rising potential. For just £8.5 million, you could snap up one of this season's most promising England stars and that's a steal if the midfielder is able to replicate last season's form at St Mary's Stadium. Lallana scored nine goals in 2013-14 and also provided five assists, while he made 63 key passes last term, according to Squawka stats. With Luis Suarez gone, and with him the Reds' main outlet for goals, Lallana will be expected to fill some of the goal-scoring void at Anfield in 2014-15, and there's every expectation he will be a success story. A knee injury means he won't play until September 20, keeping him out of his new side's first four games, but last season's form suggests it's worth putting him on your bench until he's out of the treatment room. Or you could wait until he's fit before paying his paltry fee. Value: £8.5 million
