Nathaniel Clyne's move from Southampton to Liverpool - the latest in a series of similar transfers between the two clubs over the last couple of seasons - may have cast doubts over the continued solidity of the Saints' back line, but should see the Anfield squad immediately benefit as a consequence. Clyne was hot Fantasy property last year, just as capable of getting forward and scoring or assisting goals as he was contributing to clean sheet after clean sheet. Now, with fellow new boy Danny Ings (and potentially aerial threat Christian Benteke) to benefit from his surging runs and teasing crosses, he should prove far more valuable than his £5.5m price tag indicates.
