Josh King profited last year because he was erroneously listed as a midfielder (meaning more points for goals), but he was still prolific enough for the Cherries to warrant consideration this year at the £7.5m price he's landed on.

The mobile striker scored 16 times last year and added 3 assists, which is an unbelievable return for that sort of price, and he should be one of the best pound-for-pound strikers available for selection. He might find competition tougher this year with Jermain Defoe now lining up for Bournemouth too, but it's more likely King will drop deeper, and having a poacher of Defoe's quality ahead of him should mean his assist rate goes up dramatically.

He's unlikely to profit too much from Defoe's unselfishness, but if you consider how unsettled defenders will be keeping track of the former Sunderland man, the space for King should increase, just as his chances of scoring will.
