Fantasy Premier League veterans will know that Charlie Daniels has been a low-key gem for the past two seasons, and last term was the 7th highest scoring defender in the league with almost the same haul as Leighton Baines and James Milner. Considering he costs £1m and £1.5m less than those two respectively, he's got to be considered a strong option.

Last year the defender scored 4 goals and chipped in with 3 assists. He's also been a big part of 10 clean sheets with the Cherries last term (which should improve with Begovic in goal) and put in more than 80 crosses, so his assists should really have been even better.

With Jermain Defoe in the attacking line, those crosses might just score him even more assist points this year, and at £5m, he's definitely a great option.
