Fantasy Premier League Tips: 3 Arsenal Players You Should Sign

The most important Gunners players in this year's Premier League pool.

With the 2014/15 Premier League season about to open this weekend, the question of final Fantasy Football line-ups will be playing heavily on fans' minds. Having spent the past couple of weeks reading our guides to the best players and bargains to make sure you finish with as big a points haul as possible, it's time now to get that first week's line-up set in stone. And given the importance on relying on players from the top four teams in the league, we're breaking down exactly who you should be buying from each of the league's major contenders, starting with Arsenal. This year, Arsene Wenger needs to compete again, especially given the money he has invested this summer, so we can expect Arsenal players to be up at the top of the rankings come season's end as long as the French manager meets expectations. So with that in mind, we're looking at the 3 Arsenal players every Fantasy Football player should consider for their team, thanks to their potential for scoring the most points this season. Were it not for his disciplinary record, new French right-back Mathieu Debuchy would be one of the chosen three here, but his fondness for aggressive tackles has something of the old-school about it, and he proved in his couple of years at St. James' Park that he wasn't always exactly spot on with his timing with all of those tackles. As a result, red cards are an unfortunate part of his game - which Arsene Wenger will surely already be wary of - and the potential to miss games and lose points for sendings off pushes him out of the running. Yes, he's only £5.5m, but red cards play a major part in who wins the Fantasy Football leagues at the end of the season. So who does make the list?
