3. David Luiz (Chelsea)
One of the more expensive defenders in the game, David Luiz has missed the first 2 games of the season with a hamstring strain, and is likely to be absent for the third. Given Chelsea are not playing in Gameweek 3, he should be the first defender out the door. He's £6.4 million, and a staggering 13.4% teams have him; nearly 1 in 7 teams in the official Premier League game. With the absence of a Gameweek, and no guarantee of a starting place on his return after the international break, the time may have come to invest in a more productive defender.
