Phil Jones has also seen a rise in ratings if the leak is to be believed with the centre-half climbing one point from his value of 78 in FIFA 14. This would appear to be warranted considering Jones put in some encouraging performances last season, starting 23 of the 26 Premier League appearances he made last term. Jones is a brave centre-back and would throw himself on a live grenade for his team, such is his commitment for the cause. He puts his head where others would be afraid to put their feet and his occasionally-patchy injury record is a testament to his courageousness. With Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic gone and new manager Louis van Gaal favouring a 4-3-3 formation that places emphasis on defenders, we will likely see much more of the England star this season. However, though he showed promise last term with his dedication to the cause, that commitment can at times boarder on rash and there have been occasions where the 22-year-old has lost his head. Considering he is set to make the centre-half slot his own at Old Trafford over the next five years or so though, we think a gradual increase in rating is a fair enough reflection on his performances and potential.
